A Roomspiration blog hop & link party that is! Today is all about the Living Room and ours is finally starting to come together! We started with an anything but mellow yellow great room:
Two coats of paint, a rug, some furniture, a gallery wall + wall-o-shelves and one monstrous DIY project later:
While I L.O.V.E what we've done so far, I still have some pretty large items to purchase to get it lookin' good. Like this tulip chair from West Elm that I've drooled over several times:
Aaand we need curtains (maybe like these)
an ottoman (maybe like this)
a pillow switcharoo (I'm already ready for some more pillow talk)...the list just goes on and on people. So now it's your turn! Give me some Roomspiration and head over to Kelly at View Along the Way to link up!

It's looking great! I love how you styled your bookcases. Any plans on painting your fireplace brick white? That would look killer!
Looking great! You did a gorgeous job styling your bookcases. I am so in love with the tulip chair and ottoman, they will look terrific in the space
That bookcase and gallery wall looks straight out of a magazine! Gorgeous! And I love your kitchen cabinets too. Now I've gotta go check out that ottoman... :)
Thanks for linking up to the roomspiration party!
Found you over at Roomspiration. I am loving your living room...especially those bookcases. You did an awesome job styling them. They look totally professionally done. I am your latest follower. I would love for you to stop by and say hi and consider following me back. Thanks so much.
Lovely room! I love the bookcases and all the frames above them! Very nicely put together:)
What's NOT to like about this room?! Seriously! It is immaculate. The gallery wall is probably my favorite, though. :) Thank you for gracing Roomspiration with your presence! :D
Your room looks great & I love what you did with the bookcase
What a beautiful room! I love your subway art - do you live in NWA? We live in SW Missouri but watched the Hogs play in Fayetteville yesterday. :)
